Poster for the movie “Proces” (2024).
“Proces” is an innovative and multidimensional work of art that combines music and film to present a fascinating journey through various stages of life changes. The production, created by rapper Robert Knapik (Knaps) and the talented producer duo Ensoul, focuses on the ambiguous meaning of the word “process” – as a symbol of Knaps’ life’s challenges and legal trials.
Poster features a vertical red stripe, a direct reference to the appearance of legal case files in Poland.
In the background, a Polish housing estate (blokowisko) is visible – the environment where Knaps was raised. The harsh realities of growing up in such a place, marked by limited opportunities and social pressure, play a crucial role in the film’s narrative.
The Wolf of Wall Street
Alternative movie poster for Martin Scorsese's masterpiece, 'The Wolf of Wall Street' (2013) – a film portraying the rise and fall of Jordan Belfort, a notorious stockbroker and conman.
Violence creates violence
Every bombing in Gaza by Israel leaves deep scars, not just in the destroyed buildings but in the hearts of the next generation of Palestinians. Each violent act creates anger and a desire for revenge, keeping the conflict going. Children who see the destruction and loss feel a deep sense of injustice and pain, which often turns into a drive for revenge. As the violence goes on, so does the chance that future generations will want to retaliate, continuing the cycle of suffering.
The Clown
I once admired Elon Musk — a visionary seemingly dedicated to reshaping our world. His work with SpaceX, Starlink, Tesla, and Neuralink was nothing short of revolutionary, a testament to his extraordinary genius (so I thought), albeit with a touch of eccentricity.
But then came Twitter. With Musk’s takeover, the narrative shifted. Under the guise of the hollow phrase “freedom of speech,” Musk began to fuel hatred, spread conspiracy theories, and preach about free speech (while blocking accounts that were inconvenient for him or his interests).*
This shift appears to be a calculated move to appeal to a particular demographic of Twitter users — those who are more likely to resonate with his support for Donald Trump. By siding with him, Musk seems to be gambling on a future where his loyalty might be rewarded — perhaps with tax breaks or political favors if Trump returns to power. In doing so, however, Musk is destroying the legacy he worked so hard to build.
* There were also many important topics that Musk avoided, most notably Russia's invasion in Ukraine. Why doesn’t he tweet about it? Maybe because it wouldn’t serve Donald Trump’s interests, who, for reasons that are difficult to understand, seems inclined to please Putin? The only time Musk did speak on the topic was when he proposed a so-called “peaceful” solution, suggesting that Ukraine should cede some of its territory to Russia.
